Return and Exchange Policy

Overview

Opimae creates home fragrances from rare North American botanicals. Every creation is handcrafted in small batches in our studio. Because each piece is made with care, we want you to feel completely delighted with your purchase. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.

Returns

Opened creations aren’t accepted unless damaged or incorrect. First, reach out to us with a description of the issue and your order number. Once your return is approved, we’ll provide simple instructions for returning the creation. After we receive and inspect the creation(s), we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method and send a confirmation by email.

If something arrives damaged

Every creation is packed by hand with care, but transit can be unpredictable. If your creation arrives damaged or you’ve received the wrong creation, reach out to us within 48 hours of delivery with a quick description and a photo, and we’ll make it right.

Please note that we’re unable to cover creations left outdoors in heat, cold, or rain for an extended period after delivery.

Because our creations are handcrafted from rare botanicals and ingredients, natural variations in texture, scent, or vessel character are part of their unique craftsmanship and are not considered defects. Used creations cannot be returned.

Shipping and delivery issues

When placing an order and once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number so you can follow its journey. While we can’t take responsibility for parcels that are lost, stolen, or marked “delivered” by the carrier once they leave our hands, we’re always happy to help you open a claim with the postal service.

To make sure your order reaches you, please double-check your shipping address at checkout. Packages returned to us due to an incorrect address can be reshipped at the cost of return postage + new shipment fee.

Address Accuracy

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. We cannot reroute packages once they have shipped.

Packaging

Every creation you receive is packaged with care using protective materials chosen to keep them safe while minimizing environmental impact. Except for the delivery label, all packaging materials can safely be recycled.
