The botanicals we love

At the heart of every creation live our pure essential oils, drawn from native plants tended with regenerative care across North America. Some of these oils are profoundly precious — it can take up to 600 pounds of fresh botanicals to yield one liter of pure essential oil, or about 4 to 17 pounds for a single creation. A testimony to how generous nature becomes when met with respect and care.
The harvest window for certain plants lasts only six weeks. Once distilled, we let the oils rest and mature for two to three years, allowing their scent to unfold into greater depth and complexity.
Because every essential oil is sourced from farmers we personally came to know on our journeys, each one is fully traced to the territory, the year, and the month it was harvested.

Labrador Tea carries the cool, green breath of northern wetlands — a pungent, resinous herbal scent that feels both ancient and deeply soothing. There is a quiet wildness to Sweetfern — a spicy-sweet resinous warmth that feels like sunlight on dry leaves, yet something so delicately fragrant can flourish in such harsh conditions.
Though seldom encountered in fine perfumery, Sweetfern has long held a quiet place among those who seek distinctive North American botanicals. Its complex, airy-green and resinous character offers a rare natural depth that feels both grounding and luminous — a material that rewards the few who work with it.

Native to the arid plateaus and canyons of Arizona, it brings a sense of wide-open space and grounded strength to the creations it inhabits.

Lavender
There is a soft clarity to Lavender — a sweet, floral-herbaceous fragrance that feels like cool air moving through sun-warmed fields. While lavender is widely known, this high-desert expression carries a brighter, slightly fresher character shaped by the intense light and dry air of the Southwest. Its scent unfolds in gentle layers of sweet floral notes, clean herbaceous tones, and a soft balsamic warmth that soothes without heaviness. Grown in the arid landscapes of Arizona, it brings a sense of quiet calm and spaciousness to the rituals it accompanies.

Perfume Accords
We create our own perfume accords expressly to work alongside our essential oils. Not meant to stand on their own, they are composed to highlight, lift, or deepen specific aspects of each scent — helping it reach its fullest and most distinctive expression.
This alchemy — the meeting of wild botanicals and carefully composed perfume accords — brings a level of complexity and nuance typically found in fine perfumery, shaping each of our creations into something truly one-of-a-kind: layered, alive, and impossible to find anywhere else.
